Hello, my mom was put on probation for a 3rd degree felony in 1989, she completed 5 years with no violations except money for her fees. My mom was ordered to sell her car, sell her furniture , and place all 4 of us kids into foster care, we have no family. I went with her to report numerous times and the probation officer was a freak, who told her he shot blanks. We were dirt poor and I know in my gut he violated her probation because she didn't want to play around with him. I was 13, I remember. Anyway, one of my siblings was violently raped in foster care. I have ran adds in the FT. Worth star telegram to see if anyone else was under supervision with this officer, and I ran adds in Cleburne,Texas, all to no avail. Oh what I forgot to mention she was placed into a half-way house that was the reason she had to sell all her stuff.. and all her money would go to the state to pay her less than 3,000 dollar restitution, which half of that was state fees and fines. Mom wrote some hot checks and committed forgery. Nothing right about that, but the punishment is very disproportionate to the crime. Any thing I can do to bring some peace in this matter? Also if my mom had seen it coming she would have done something, back in the 80's unlike now recidivism was the main goal.

Yeah, my mom was single all the time she was on probation, plenty of men interested but she was just trying to get the past behind her... Hey, my mom recently went back to college, she is going to get her social worker license, for obvious reasons, do you know of any good attorneys she could get to get her record to read : charges dismissed. My mom was told since she was on probation she would not be eligible for a state pardon, the Social work licenseing board, had told her she will meet the requirements for the license
Just wondering if you had some more insight to all this..

    Again thanks
