    Is it Urinary Tract Infection?
Three weeks ago, after my period, I had pain in my lower and upper abdomen, and in my waist. After a few days, I found droplet of blood in my underwear and something long and clear like mucus, I had check up. Doctor said it was Ulcer that causes pain in my upper abdomen and Urinary Tract Infection in my lower.

He gave me medicine for ulcer and UTI. The pain, the droplets of blood and the mucus are gone but after like 2 weeks or so, I started to have pain in my right and also in my lower abdomen and also when I am peeing,
and after a few days, my period came back.

I want to know if it is UTI that causes the droplets of blood, the long and clear mucus, and all the pain? And is it normal to have period twice a month? Thank you.

When you have infections and are being treated for them, it will cause your cycle to do weird things. Is it normal? Yes and no.

The bleeding is a little concerning and could indicate something else though most the symptoms in your lower abdomen could be consistent with a UTI. Post treatment you should discuss this all with your doctor, especially if the symptoms don't go away.

An irritated bladder will usually generate pain in the abdomen and blood in urine, and probably the mucus as well. I hesitate to give all symptoms a name other then UTI, but basically that is what it is and 99 per cent of the time is caused by fecal matter entering the urethra which easily happens if you are not diligent and wipe from back to front, this allowing contamination to happen. There isn't much distance between urethra and anus in women. So, best to wipe UP the back after a bowel movement.

You don't want recurrent UTIs as they compromise the kidneys, especially dangerous for diabetics.

Always discuss symptoms with your doctor so he can prescribe proper meds.
