I wanted to skip my period for my vacation and I read online a way to do it. If you skip you last 7 seven day pills (sugar pills) and start the new pack right away it should do the trick. I did exactly what they said. I was fine that Thursday no period as normal. It wasn't until the next week on wed. I started spotting. It started as brown blood just a little every time I went to the bathroom and then on the 3rd day it started turning red. I have now been on my period for 9 days, it is a very light period but I still need to where a pad.
Now with my new pack of pills I am supposed to start my original period next week. Does anyone know how long this is going to last, is there something wrong and should I be concerned enough to go to the doctor?

You should contact your doctor on this. There are 100s of different pills on the market and since we don't know your particular pill, nor your history, any info we give may be compromising your health.
