    68 hours EtG
Hello. I work on a construction site, and my boss popped a drug test on us this morning. I noticed the EtG letters on the form, so I researched it and it brought me here. I see this test goes back up to 80 hours, but some people don't seem to think this. Here's my case: I am a small guy, 5'4", around 130 lbs. On Friday, my day off, I drank about 4 beers from 10-5, then some shots, about 4 and maybe 3 more beers. I fell asleep around 9:30. So around 7 beers and 4 shots over 10 hours. I have to take the test by 6 pm tonight. This puts me around 68 hours from last drink. Does anyone think I stand a chance of passing? If not, probably suspension, or worse, lose my job.

I should also say that I over the weekend I did not drink, but I consumed about 100 oz. of water, probable 40 oz. of juice, and about 70 oz. of coffee ( I love my coffee ). Thanks in advance

Is it a condition of your employment that you stay completely sober ?
If not then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Not a condition, they are just looking for drugs. Alcohol has always been okay. That is why after researching EtG I was confused, but I guess this is a new testing lab. Is it my time window that makes you think I'm OK?

As long as sobriety is not a condition of your employment then a different view will be taken on the results.
You may well show as positive, but it depends on the limits that they are looking for.

The 67 hour mark is the time I finished the last of four beers. I ate afterward and have been drinking lots of water, gatorade, g tea, and a little B-vitamins. I have been urinating frequently and I know I have to eat 4 hours or so before the test. I am a male and weigh 180 lbs.
