    Knee Problems
I'm only 16 years old and have had right knee paint for about four years. In 6th grade I fell on it wrong and was on crutches for about a week and went through physical therapy but nothing has helped. The pain and swelling flairs up more in the winter time and when I try to get involved in sports or working out. I've had MRIs but they don't seem to find anything or just might not care enough. I've not grown since 6th grade so I don't think it has anything to do with that. I'm getting really tired of the pain help!

If you're not satisfied with the answer you're given then go to a different doctor. There is always a solution to the problem. I also call BS on not have grown since 6th grade. You might not have gotten taller but you've grown.

The body is a beautifully complex machine where everything is connected and nothing is completely isolated. The problem with this is that a pain in your knee could be caused by something in your lower back or down your leg. Having fallen arches or a misaligned step could cause the knee to be out of whack and cause pain.

The bottom line is that you need to go find a different doctor and one that isn't going to concentrate on the knee but take a look at the complete physical picture.
