    Chest pain
I am 44 year old female. I have been having some dull feelings in my chest just under my left breast. The feelings usually go away after a few seconds. This morning I was woke up at 5 with a very sharp pain that went straight through my chest and out my back. I sat up and had another one but the pain went away. They each just lasted maybe 2 or 3 seconds. I laid down and tried to relax. When I woke up I had a very dull sensation in the same area as I had the pain. This dull sensation has come and gone all day. Do you think if this pain comes back tonight I should go to er or wait and try to get worked into dr tomorrow. I live about 45 min from hospital. My last blood work was done 3 months ago. My dr called me in office to discuss my high ldl number. My father had a massive heart attach when he was 46.

Go to the ER. You should have from the first pain. Chest pain is a medical emergency.
