    Honeywell th8000 thermostat
    T stat is set to 70 and temp is 70 furnace comes on and temp is still 70 runs foe few min and turns off temp still 70 15 min later comes back on still 70
    Should it not drop 1 or 2 deg before it come on?

    I believe there is an internal adjustment for that. Read over the set up instructions. There should also be a phone number for Honeywell in the manual. If you can't find the adjustment in the set up area of the manual, Honeywell can likely help you out.
