I don't but it is probably. Worth calling a lawyer. If I had to guess never.

I agree with both Matt and excon. A warrant never expires.

Just because the cops are too lazy or don't even try to track you down, does not mean you get to avoid prosecution.

If you know there is a warrant out for your arrest, contact a lawyer and arrange to turn yourself in.

If you get picked up at night or on the weekend you will have to stay there until a Judge comes in the next day (or monday). If your lawyer is there it will take around an hour.

Hey captain, those donut shops need to be protected also you know.

But yes Captain knows canada, I know a lot about the US, and in general, warrants don't expire, in some cases city warrants will be thrown out after a number of years by the judge to clean up the load for minor things, but this is more a case by case or a city court rule.

But in general, a warrant does not expire, the SOL is from the time the crime was commetted, to the time there is a official charge, so once a person is charged ( warrant) that freezes any SOL

What is the bench warrant for, (not appearing) normally these can be taken care for by arranging to appear though an attorney

To all non-Canadians out there, the biggest donut chain here in Canada is Tim Horton’s.

As you can see from the picture below, it is the safest place in Canada :p

Yes a little off topic, but one night ( on our dinner break) we went over to Krispy crème, well our capt was already there, as was one of the GA State Univ police officers and two city police officers, a similar photo appeared with our cars, well lets just say I was on foot patrol for about a week, and not in the wrong,
They offered 1/2 price food and free drinks, plus late at night almost all of the regular food places in our area were closed
