    Old war movie girl falls for pilot she dies on church steps with his medal in her han
    Hello.. I am looking for an old romantic war love story ,about a girl who falls in love with a pilot ( I think ) she gets caught in the rain and becomes very ill .he goes to war but gets killed.. he told her he will return.. she sees him in her sleep and goes to a church at night in the poring rain.. she collaps on the church steps but just before she dies she sees him he puts something into her hand.. her friend run up to her and open her hand and say he returned to her the end.. I think it was in black and white.. I saw it twice in the 6os .I am sure some where in the title it said.. showers.. tears... paris.. spring... thank you
