    Well, you said you have a sandbox. Do you use it the way I suggested? Start there. Do what labman suggested. And maybe go to HomeDepot or Petsmart and find that natural liquid fence that you can sprinkly or spray around the base of the trees. The problem with those is you have to keep reapplying after it rains. But, eventually, it should deter her from going back to that area. She will make the connection of the bad smells with the trees.

    Actually Johnny uses the sandbox, so maybe I could bury him? LOL

    I will tell hubby about the liquid fence. We could get some after the rainy season, which only lasts through next month.

    LOL, she has "quieted" down since the weather got warmer. We have tracked her digging down and are sure it is due to moles. Our problem isn't exactly the digging, but where she is digging. It is at the base of a very old oak tree, we would hate to lose the tree due to her digging around the roots.

    You can hope she wipes out the moles and quits. I am sure you won't miss them. They do like to dig around the base of trees. The one Shepherd I had was even worse than the Labs.
