Well water is black
It started with well water coming in black in one toilet upper level. After a couple of days the other upstairs toilet started going gray. The shower and sinks are now starting to go gray. We poured some bleach directly into the well to flush it. When we flushed it in the past the water would do this. We just never had it do this on it's own.We have had steady rain for a couple weeks. Well is 180 ft. Door Co. WI

I have black sediment stuck in fixtures for all cold water pipes and rust out of the hot. Could this have to do with not changing a water filter on the main? The black sediment looks like carbon particles and I am afraid that it has effected my water heater also.
I have a new tankless hot water heater installed at my house. When I run hot water in the tub, there are always small black particles that are easily visible (about this size of small seeds).. sometimes the water has a milky color to it that always clears.. but water sometimes looks a bit dirty.....

I live in Florida and have well water. We installed the well about three years ago because the old one was too shallow. Now I have a problem with black sediment coming only out of the hot water. It stinks. Does anyone have any ideas?
