    Mirena
I have had my mirena in place for almost five years now, however it is coming close to the time to get the mirena removed and I have some questions. Does removal hurt? How long is the recovery time? What are the side effects if I decide to keep the mirena in for longer then five years? I have recently gotten my libido back, I am terribly moody, I feel as though I am a five hundred pound hippo and nothing fits (probably hormones at this point) but I also have started to get cramps although I have not started to bleed. Should I be worried? Once the device is removed how long should I wait to try and get pregnant? Is there a period I should wait before getting pregnant?

These are all questions you should really address towards your doctor who will be removing the IUD.
