Do we pay interest on a home in chapter 13
I'm going through a divorce and want my husband to buy me out or sale the house. The problem is how will this work out? Do we even pay interest on our home while it is in bankruptsy?

You pay interest as long as there is an outstanding loan (the people who loaned the funds are entitled to it).

It would all depend upon what your Chapter 13 plan provides. It may possibly defer some or all of the principal or interest payments for the life of the plan, but filing for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 13 won't remove the mortgage debt, interest or principal. I'm curious why you are asking about both Chapter 13 and forcing your husband to re-finance. Do you imagine they would be related?
