    Allergy medicine
    I am taking norvasc for blood pressure control. Can I take loratadine tablets 10 mg for allergy relief?

    To my knowledge, Claritin (Loratadine) is by prescription. ***ADDED -- I checked. It IS OTC.

    Did you read the labels? Is there any warning about the Claritin causing high blood pressure? I'd ask a pharmacist, but it's after 9 here. Is there a Walgreen's or some other store near you with an open pharmacy you can call?
