    Ford F250 Diesel Problems
    I have a F250 super duty 2001 with a 7.3 liters diesel power stroke. Sometimes when I lift my foot from the Accelerator pedal the check engine light comes on and the engine falls to iddle and refuse to accelerate for few seconds 3 to 10 seconds then the check engine light goes off and everything works fine again (while idling the engine runs smooth) Any idea what the problčeme might be?

    I had a 1985 ford diesel that gave me a lot of problems it ended up being air in the cooling system, I spent a lot of time and money replacing or troubleshooting different systems,I found my fix at a forum colled ford enthuiest.hope this helps you god bless
