both of our dogs went into labor on the same day 2 weeks ago and now both mothers and puppies are covered in fleas

Soapy water, l/2 tsp dish soap and a good flea comb. Sit pup on your lap on a towel, dip the flea comb in the soapy water and comb the fur very carefully, making sure you clean the comb often. Do not immerse the pup in the water. Do this often, but do not under any circumstances use any kind of flea spray.

With mom and pups in another room, treat your rugs with salt, leave on for 24 hours and vacuum up. The salts destroy the skeleton of the flea and they die. When each room is treated, keeping mom and pups in other rooms, you will find a big difference!
