    Yamaha generator
    I have a Yamaha yg6600de generator that will only start with starting fluid. Gas is pouring out of the carb, but the generator will not stay running without starting fluid.

    Float may be sticking, or jet may have fallen out, May get lucky with a carb cleaner through the fuel in to the carb, or float bowl drain plug.
    Worse case, may need dissembly.
