    Humming/vibration noise inside house
I have a noise, sounds like something running (fan) and a slight vibration canbe heard as well. I have shut off all power and water and the sound is still there. How can I find out where this sound is coming from.

It could be something outside the home. Are there any train tracks, factories or industrial equipment near your home or neighborhood? Any construction going on nearby?
