    sisters disagree about jointly owned house
    I own 2/3 of a house and land in N.C. And my sister owns only 1/3 of it but she wants all repairs to be approved by her before they are done even a light repair
    ,what can I do... it takes me 6 months to get back tax money from her etc.

    Contact an attorney about suing her for partition. What this would do is get the court to order that either
    • the property be subdivided between the two of you fairly; or
    • (more likely) the property be sold and each of you gets a reasonable portion of the proceeds. This would probably result in one of you buying it (being credited your share toward the purchase price) and the proceeds divided between you. So, if you don't have a lot of cash, you would have to obtain financing to pay her off.
