    Tires sizes
I have a chance to obtain a set of winter tires that are sized 225/60R16 and my car tire size is 205/55R16. Would they fit on my car? No rims on them.

I have worked as a tyre fitter and unfortunately no , the R16 might be the same but you have to think of the width as well, hope this helps pal

2" larger in diameter and 6.6% speedo error. I would say no unless you have a lot of fender clearance and can live with the error.
