    I have a toro with a intek 500 in it the conrod bolts came loose and locked up
    Toro with a briggs and stratton intek 500 in it the conrod came loose so I pulled it apart and replaced the conrod I aligned the timing dots together I think this is right but it seems to be blowing out the fuel at the carby. Should these be opposite each other or facing each other?? The engine won't fire but if I hold my hand on the intake it backfires...

    Hi,
    Sounds like something is not lined up correctly. The gear on the crank usually has a dot, but the cam gear usually has a scooped out place these days.
