I never said it wasn't democracy at work, you just overlook the fact that the people decided they didn't like Democrats controlling everything are still under some illusion that Obama has a mandate in spite of that. The people said loud and clear, "back off", and you aren't listening. You beeyatch as Tal says about them obstructing when the people wanted some obstruction after the way Dems ran roughshod over them and their clear wishes.
Meanwhile, Bibi is going to try and talk some sense into Obama - right after Israel arrested an alleged Iranian spy who just happened to have intel of possible terrorism targets including photos of the US embassy in Tel Aviv in his camera. I bet the emperor will be more receptive to Iran.

News flash since apparently certain members of the lunatic left never got.
Obama isn't the Messiah, he's not an Emperor, and he's not the King.
So like a misbehaving little kid that hasn't learned to play with the other kids yet... Barrak needs to to learn his place in things... because he prances around like he thinks he is God himself.

If the lefties would stop fouling their underwear and prostrating themselves like Muslims in his presence... maybe we wouldn't have to keep pointing it out to you .

Um, ex said yesterday that his side would remember Obama as "the guy who saved the world." His side elevated him to Messiah status, don't get annoyed at us for calling him what they've created.

Show me where our side calls our PRESIDENT the messiah. You are making that up and it doesn't pass as fact. Its right wing squeal, hollering, and SPIN. Great for sound bites and red meat talking points, though huh!

Talk about aversion to reality.
"A messiah is a saviour or liberator of a group of people."
The rest has been quoted here extensively, so again don't get annoyed with us for calling him what they've created. I get it though, after all that hype I'd be backing away from it too after seeing he's really just another privileged, progressive Democrat whose talk doesn't match his walk.

Your child-like repetition of the terms in order to demean a group of people kind of invalidates whatever point you make afterwards.

Dude, just try to make sense with your arguments and we'll be fine. Only you could come to the ridiculous conclusion that I believe Obama is the messiah and instead of the guy who said he'll be remembered as "the guy who saved the world." I mean dude, that makes zero sense.

What was it ex was telling us? Oh yeah, WE WON! That guy Obama is talking to? Back in May he bragged about how he fooled the US on their nuke program back in 2003...
In a video clip now gaining fresh attention as the international community seeks to assess his credibility, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani bragged on Iranian state television just four months ago that he and the regime utterly flouted a 2003 agreement with the IAEA in which it promised to suspend all uranium enrichment and certain other nuclear activities.
Rouhani, who was being interviewed by Iran’s state IRIB TV (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) on May 27, less than three weeks before he won the June 14 presidential elections, was provoked by the interviewer’s assertion that, as Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator in 2003-5, “everything was suspended” on the nuclear program under his watch.
Smiling but evidently highly irritated by the suggestion, Rouhani called it “a lie” that only “the illiterate” would believe, and said that “whoever is talking to you in your earpiece” was feeding false information. He proceeded to detail how Iran, in fact, had flagrantly breached the October 2003 “Tehran Declaration,” which he said “was supposed to outline how everything should be suspended.”
Although Iran issued a joint statement with visiting EU ministers in October 2003 setting out its pledged obligations under the Tehran Declaration, in practice, Rouhani said in the interview, “We did not let that happen!”
But we WON!
Bloomberg columnist Jeffrey Goldberg has taken note of the post and observed what is on offer: “Rouhani has revealed his true nuclear intentions.” Goldberg explains:
[I]n May, shortly before he was elected, Rouhani appeared on state-run IRIB TV to defend his nuclear work, appearing defensive as a hard-line interviewer essentially accused him of bowing before the West. We may one day thank the interviewer, Hassan Abedini, for pushing Rouhani on the subject. According to an account of the conversation published in the Times of Israel, Rouhani at one point became flustered by the insinuation that, as Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator 10 years ago, he kowtowed to the West by bringing his country’s nuclear activities to a stop.
“We halted the nuclear program?” he asked, rhetorically. “We were the ones to complete it! We completed the technology.”
Abedini pushed Rouhani harder, claiming that uranium enrichment at a facility in Isfahan had been suspended while Rouhani was in charge. Rouhani denied the accusation, and then claimed credit for the development of a heavy-water reactor in Arak in 2004.
“Do you know when we developed yellowcake? Winter 2004. Do you know when the number of centrifuges reached 3,000? Winter 2004.”
Reading accounts of Rouhani’s combative interview made me wonder if this might represent his personal Hudaybiyyah moment. What is a Hudaybiyyah moment? The moment when a mask slips.
What did we win?

Syria is not Iran? Brilliant. As I recall we were discussing both in your we won world, and I don't believe Reagan would trust a guy we already know is bragging about fooling us. Obama is no Reagan, though.

Yup :
Here is something to remember as nuclear negotiations between the West and Iran appear set to recommence: The Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani, the putative moderate on whose shoulders great American hopes have been placed, is proud of the work he did to advance his country's nuclear program -- and also of his efforts to stymie Western attempts to stop that work.
Rouhani Has Revealed His True Nuclear Intentions - Bloomberg
... and not only that ;the Supreme Leader ,Ayatollah Ali Khamenei did a bit of a smack down on Hassan Rouhani for taking it too far.
Khamenei had pointed at some “missteps” during the Iranian delegation's visit to the UN General Assembly in New York last month, specifically Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's phone conversation with US President Barack Obama, and Zarif's own meeting with Secretary of State John Kerry.
Khamenei unhappy over contacts with Obama and Kerry | The Times of Israel
But that won't stop the emperor ,and the West in general from grasping at that carrot and opening another round of time delaying negotiations that will include easing of sanctions.
It's an international version of' hopey changy '.
