    Morning after pill Norvelo?
Hi I would like to ask you a question about the Morning after pill Norvelo.
I am a very nervous person and worry easy. So would like to know some info.

Me and my boyfriend were fooling around a little. We didn't have intercourse, but he ejaculated on the seat. I am unsure if I sat on it or not, but noticed I had a little on my skirt. I also had clothes on, tights and underwear, and I'm unsure if this could have went through the clothing.

I panicked and took Norvelo that I got from the chemist 12 hours later. 5 days after taking it, I got heavy bleeding, which appeared exactly like my period, heavy and lasted 5 days with some cramps. I'm unsure if this was my period or not because it was 2 weeks early. I am very worried in case I'm pregnant and do you know when my normal period cycle could return. Thank you so much.

Many women get their next period several days before or after the expected date. Like all medications, NorlevoŽ can produce side effects. The following side effects have been observed:

Nausea, abdominal pain, tiredness, headache, dizziness, breast tenderness, irregular bleeding, vomiting, and diarrhoea.

While its not impossible, it is highly unlikely. But if this remote possibility of pregnancy scares you enough to take the morning after pill, then maybe you should stop engaging in ANY risky behavior.

Thanks for this info. I have been paranoid and worried ever since that I'm pregnant. I'm a virgin and I'm still waiting on this months period. Do you think the morning after pill is doing this to my period or could I be pregnant? I'm still so worried.

It would be impossible for you to be pregnant, if it happened as you described. And the morning-after pill messes up your periods.

Would I have needed to take the morning after pill if I didn't have sex.me and my boyfriend were fooling around,I had clothes on though.
I think now the pill has messed up my periods,I didn't get one this month, just heavy withdrawl bleeding. I'm worried I may be pregnant or the pill done this, cause I've never had sex

If you had your clothes on and fooled around, there's no way you can be pregnant. The morning after pill is not to be taken lightly, it can cause damage. That's why it's only to be used for emergencies.

It does screw up your cycle, and will for a while yet. That's one of the side effects.

If you want to play grownup games and want to limit the risks of pregnancy, look into contraception, two is best, the pill and condoms. The morning after pill is not a form of contraception, and is not to be used that way.

His penis and/or his sperm had to enter you, that can not happen with clothes on.

If you do not even know this, you don't need to be having sex. Just how young are you?

But the morning after pill can effect your period for one or two months and yes cause you to miss ( and other side effects) you needed to have read the warnings on them also.

Im 19, just a very very paranoid person.
You see it was that I had oral sex with him, he ejecuated, I had tights, skirt and underwear on, we were in the car, and not sure if I sat on it and it went through my clothes.. I got into such a panic I took the morning after pill 12 hours after this, and still waiting on my period, which was due maybe 3 weeks ago, I'm under a lot of stress thinking about this, I would know not to have full sex without protection, which I've never done, I have read stuff before, maybe some women could get pregnant without intercourse

"maybe some women could get pregnant without intercourse". Lesbians and some others could use in vitro or other methods.

Please stop posting the same question over and over again. You've gotten good answers already here. Relax and wait for your real period to come. And stop messing around with your biology.

Oh goodness. You can't get pregnant this way. The morning after pill was a waste in this case.

Pill & Morning Pill [ 6 Answers ]

Okay. I have this question. Can you take a morning-after-pill even though, your on birth control? Not, questioning that if may decrease the effectiveness of the birth pill but, will it more safer to take the morning-pill if you had unprotected sex? Probably, double the protection? Just wondering....
