    Money transfers from Mexico
    Does a Mexican citizen have to pay us taxes on money transferred to the us?

    It might or not be considered income for U.S. income tax purposes, but even if it is it would be income to the recipient, not the person paying it (presumably from Mexico).

    And why is it being transferred ? Is it a gift, or payment of a debt ? Or payment for the purchase of something ?
