    Cylinder position sensor code p1381
    Hi my name is frank I drive a 01 honda accord. Due to the code p1381 which requires to replace the whole distributor. I have replaced it twice from autozone got my money bacl and bought one from oreillys. And today it did the same thing it popped up p1381. What should I do

    Install a genuine Honda distributor housing, along with an aftermarket igniter and coil--this will keep the cost down. Aftermarket manufacturers of Honda distributors can't seem to get the CYP, TDC, and CYL position sensors right. I've seen people go through a half-dozen aftermarket Honda distributors and still not fix the problem. This will solve your problem and give you the reliability you need.
