    Will Shoplifting be on my background check
    I Was in pathmark and got caught shoplifting. Im 19. The police were called and I was finger printed. Will this be on my background check when a employer looks.

    Yes... and if you lie about it... its grounds for immediate termination when they do find out.

    I'm assuming you pled guilty, no contest or received any type of what is considered a conviction.

    OK, you were finger printed, then what ? Did you go to court, did you accept a first offender program, did you pay a fine ? Being finger printed is just the start of the process,
