Has feces gone down the drain during shower?
I'm unsure where to ask this, and it's very embarrassing. For over half a year now, I've struggled with a fear of feces. I fear that I smell of feces. Anyway, because for some reason it takes me SO LONG to clean up with toilet paper alone, I now clean a few times with toilet paper, then head straight into the shower. I do not use soap in the shower, because I read about all the chemicals in soap. I use plain water. What I fear is, when I wash my bottom with water, I wash it until it FEELS clean, and I presume when it feels clean, that all/any feces has fallen off me and gone down the shower drain. But the problem
Is, sometimes I stare at the drain while I'm washing my bottom, yet I NEVER see feces/any type of brown matter actually go down the drain. THEN, and for the last half a year at least, I fear that feces is still on me, and that it never actually goes down the drain, therefore I smell of feces. I came to a conclusion that because there is not much feces originally, and because of the high amount of water in the shower, that I never see any feces because it's invisible due to the fact of the large amount of water from the shower. And even though I've wiped my bottom after the shower to prove that there is no feces on me, I still can't get over the fact that there IS/MIGHT be feces on me still. Sorry about the long post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Bacteria are microscopic... you can't feel them, or see them with the naked eye... and they are far more dangerous than any perceived danger from soap.

Sounds like you have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder OCD.

You can buy soap that is chemical free.
