    Looking for artist
    I am looking for information about an artist. I have a painting by the artist "R. Nichols" from Avante Studios. I am trying to locate more paintings by this artist but my attempts at locating this artist via the web have been unsuccessful. Do you know the first name of the artist? Or have a web address for the artist?
    My painting is oil or acrylic, impressionistic, of a girl dressed in a white, wide brimmed hat and white dress, in a field of bushes and flowers along side a road. She is overlooking a body of water with two sailboats, with a mountain in the background and above is a blue and beige sky. The painting is done in pastel colors.

    There is a studio in California by that name in Desert Palm or Palm Springs. Sorry I coulndn't help more.

    Hi, I have a painting as well signed R. Nichols and I am unsure of the first name. It is a beautiful oil painting and my brother in law paid 1,000.00 for it about 15 years ago. If you havve found out will you please let me know too. Thanks
