    Judgement verses closing payoffs
I am selling my home and in foreclosure and the day before the date to sell my home the bank filed a judgment against me and is $20,000.00 less than the banks closing fees. Can I just pay the just judgment.

You owe the entire judgement... along with all of the closing fees.

Can you explain this more clearly.

Has the home been foreclosed on or are you just in default and being threatened with foreclosure? Or has the foreclosure process started, but not reached the auction?

A judgment cannot be filed by the bank, A judgment is awarded by a court. The bank can file suit against you however. And in doing so, they can file a lis pendens which will inhibit the sale of the property.
