Looking for a host in another country.
Hi, I'm 17 years old girl. I live in Indonesia. I really want to study in another country so I'm looking for people who want to help me make my dreams come true. Don't worry, I'm a good girl. Thanks.

You are too young to work in the U.S. And you would need clothing and transportation IF you could work legally. And even people with advanced degrees are out of work and can't find a job -- or are working at the low-paying jobs you could do.
Hosting you would be very expensive.

You can't get a job.. unless you have certain very specific types of VISA's that allow you to work here. At 17 you won't get one... and even after you are 18... it may take many years of trying.

You would have to fly to whatever country. (and fly home again) Who will pay for that?
You will need your own bedroom or at least bed and closet and clothes (maybe even for winter -- who would buy these coats and boots and mittens?).
There would have to be all sorts of transferring of school records and signed permissions from your parents and health documents and insurance forms no matter where you would go.
Have you discussed this with your parents? How long would you want to live elsewhere?

A very rich person?
Also, no one would host or adopt a teen from a foreign country sight unseen and not knowing the person. And again, your parents would have to be very much a part of the deal. Would they be?

My parents won't care. If anyone say they want to, I will give my details.

But you are under age and can't leave home without parents' permission. And smoothy mentioned some of the VISA problems.
Do you have a passport? Can you pay for one?

I can make one next year. I'm pretty sure my parents won't realize if I'm gone.

Then finish college first, and the world will be at your feet for finding a job or living in another country.
Who is paying for college?
