Worried about VBAC am I high risk?
Im 32wks pregnant with my 2nd baby, I had complications in first biirth, my waters broke but nothing happened, then went on a drip to induce labour but nothing happened, my uturus didn't contract, was sent for a c- section, baby out all OK, sent up to maternity and then I had a major bleed and needed 3units of blood.
Why did my uturus not contract? Could this happen again? What are the chances of having another bleed? Should I opt for a c-section this time over a vaginal birth?

This is a new pregnancy and each pregnancy is different. Depending on how far along you were with your first, could be why you didn't contract. How long did your water break before you were sectioned? VBAC (vaginal birth after C-Section) may be an option for you. Check out ACOG.com and search VBAC for information. Also, check out iCan.com Hope this was helpful.

VBAC is an option. However, you will have to find a doctor willing to take on the risks. Very few will due to the high risk of uterine rupture.
