    Foot Help! Greatly Appreciated.
Hello, recently my foot has been very tender, around the first metatarsal area. I visited Accident And Emergency, and had an X-ray on my Left Foot. Now, if it is a stress fracture, I was told that X-Rays cannot detect such injuries. Could the doctor have missed this? I've recently returned from a Pelvic Fracture, and have increased my daily activities very slowly.

    Thanks,
    Rhys

Your pelvic fracture could have caused strain on you foot unless you completely stayed off your feet the entire time. If they can not find anything that could be what happened.

Do you mean that my foot is not used to activity, and is just bruised?

If you were on your feet at all when you had the pelvic fracture it could cause your body weight to put more pressure and strain on your foot to compensate for the pain and injury in your pelvic area. So it is possible it is a really bad strained muscle or something.
