Kenmore series 90 washer is not letting cold water run in?
We had well problems and some grit/iron might have gotton to the washer. Is there a filter on the water input side to keep out sediment?

The washer gets stuck in the fill cycle?

    Thanks,

Bob... very happy with our washer and dryer and know this is a water issue not washing machine issue, but please help!

Turn off the water and disconnect the water lines. You will either find a steel or plastic mesh screen. Mine has a small tab that can be caught and pull out the screen. If you have sediment why not install a whole house filter. I have one on my well that uses a 30 micron filter.
