How to wire up LED lights
Hey Guys. I'm a horticulturist and am looking into rigging up a variety of grow lights. I would like to know how to make all the calculations needed from the ground up to allow for different LEDs.
As far as I know all I need is to rig the lights up and use the correct driver (rather than resistors), is that right? I am in Australia so we have 240 Volts. Should they be wired in series or parallel or?
Also, Is it OK to seal LED inside something to make them water tight as to have them strung out throughout the garden etc.

I bought a set of 6 Hampton Bay low voltage solar LED lights and now 2 of the lights will not work. The rechargeable batteries work but the lights will not illuminate. How can I fix them or replace the LED? Where can I get LED bulbs?

I just purchased a few LED screw-in light bulbs. Now when ever I turn off the wall switch, the LED light is dimmed but not off. In these same fixtures with an incandescent bulb, the light goes completely off. How do I solve this problem? The house was built in 1979 with 3-wire 12 gage.
