I am 21 years old, I am married, and I am a homemaker. I am not under any stress, and I have irregular periods as it is, but I have never been more than 7 days late. I am just wondering if it is too early to take a test. I have had a few pregnancy symptoms, but I don't like taking the tests, and seeing the negative outcome, as my husband and I are attempting pregnancy. Is it too early to take the ept?

It would be too early for pregnancy symptoms, other than a missed period. So any symptoms you're feeling, likely aren't due to pregnancy.

Wait until your period is at least 2 weeks late (14 days), then test with first morning urine. If that test is negative, see what happens with your next period. If you miss it as well, test again, or get a blood test.

You will not normally have any signs of pregnancy at this point, other than a missed period, most signs are confused with signs you will get at 3 months perhaps.

It is far to early to test, the soonest you can test, and still chance a false reading, is 2 week late. So wait at least one more week, and test using first urine of morning

I am indeed pregnant! I appreciate the time you have given to answer my question. I found out yesterday that I am 5 weeks. Now were starting to get excited!
