    Is this my period?
Hello... I was on birth control and stopped taking them 28/07/13, the 31/07/13 I started a normal period. On the 19/08/13 I started to spot brown with mild cramps, very little and the 3rd day I started to bleed which was not enough for a first day of a period, the next day I started to spot brown and it last till 25/08/13, I got worried and went to the doc 23/08/13 , PT was negative and no infection. The 28/08/13 I started spotting for 2 days very little as well. 02/09/13 I started spotting brown again with cramps and 3rd day started to bleed again with a tiny piece of clot, also not like a period should be. I have been having mild cramps since the 19/08/13, I really want to know what's happening to me? Please help me because in getting very worried.

It can take months for your body to get back to normal when you stop using the pill or other forms of birth control other than a condom. It sounds like your body is just adjusting to you no longer using any form of birth control.

Of course it is possible for you to be pregnant if you've had sex since you stopped using the birth control. But we can't diagnose pregnancy, or anything else medical, online.

Thank you that helps a lot... I had unprotected sex after I stopped using the pill, and I haven't been on the pill for too long but ill wait a while and see how it goes. I just don't understand why I have cramps everyday? Should I see a doctor about it or should I wait?
