    My 1994 mazda v4000 is very sluggish to start... it seems to have a problem ideling and the dash board lights went out while we were driving it

    First, what is the condition of the battery and the connections to the battery?

    Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting. Replace, if necessary.
