    Is my belly piercing infected
    It's been a week since I got my belly button pierce.I got it pierce on Saturday. The first few days it didn't hurt it wasn't till the 5th day that I stared to feel pain. Rite now my belly piercing is a little swollen n redish but only on the button marball n it hurts when I touch it. I clean it twice a day with saline wound was I sleep with a deferent shirt every night also the guy that pierce my belly told me to advoide sleeping on my stoumuch but I only did it for the first day.

    Clean in gently with warm clothe and mild soap. Gently pat dry with clean clothe. Put triple antibiotic cream on it to prevent infection and keeps it moist and protects debris from getting in it which prevents infection. Make sure you wash your hands well before and after cleansing. Don't touch it or play with it you may irritate it. Also wear loose clothes anything laying against it causes irritation which may cause it to become infected. Hope that helps.
