When you stop going out with your friends, spend a lot of time infornt of the TV, or the computer, even reading. Being cooped up indoors and anti social is now way of life. Go out with friends. Try walking, gardening, join a club or a sport, even talking on the phones better then nothing. Dances, movies. All sorts of stuff. Just don't sit at home in front of TV and computer

Honestly, depends on what kind of a life you want! Different people have different expectations, wants, needs and desires for their lives. If you are completely fulfilled and satisfied sitting at home watching TV all day, then you are living a full life!

BUT, most people need social and human contact as part of a healthy and full life. SO, I guess it really comes down to one question: Are you happy?

I think if you are asking that question, you probably feel you don't have much of a life. If you feel that way, you clearly don't feel fully engaged and fulfilled. The best way to work through that is to just get off the couch, back away from the computer and start doing things. Don't wait for other people to do the things with - sign up for classes, join a singles group at church, go back to school for a few classes - and know that we all go through times when things are pretty dull and lackluster, but it will change. As my mother says, if you want a different result, change your behavior.

All of the answers above are good. A lot of what life is about is making choices. It is your choice as to what you would like to do and weighing the cost and benefits involved in the making of those choices. And, I'm not speaking about cost and benefits in terms of money.

Well Chuck , you answer a lot of questions on this site, does that mean you don't have much of a life? I disagree I think you care a lot about other people and are trying to assist by giving your advice, having not much of a life is not having GOD in your life.
