I have a 3 month old daughter. I had sex the day after my last period ended we used condoms and he didn't finish. 2 weeks after that period I had 1 day of bleeding. Now I am a week late for my next period. I took a pregnancy test yesterday which is 1 month after I had sex and 3 weeks after my ovulation day. The test came back negative. Is there still a possibility that I am pregnant or could it be my hormones and body still trying to get back to normal an is causing me to have irregular periods. I had 2 periods since I gave birth and both her within 30 days of each other and lasted 7 days.

How do you know when you ovulation date really is... none of those calculators are accurate... the only two accurate ways to find it is a long term Basal temp chart... or frequent medical tests...

Second... you are only a week late... so its early to be testing... you need to be two weeks late before you can expect a reliable test result.

Third... condoms are only 80% effective used correctly... he doesn't have to fill it up... it only takes one wayward sperm to do the deed.

Fourth... yes it actually is possible its your hormones not being settled back into a mormal state yet.


I'd recommend waiting another week and retesting... first thing in the AM... the first time you pee that morning.
