    How do I write a letter of intent to leave a house to my daughter?
    I want to leave one of my houses to my step daughter but I haven't yet written my will and I do not want to deed it to her now. Can I write a letter of intent that will hold up or what do I need to do?

    What are you waiting for? Write a will! If you have multiple real estate holdings you should have done that long ago. A letter of intent may not be binding and will cause more estate settlement problems than it solves.
