    A crown is no guarantee, I've found. There can be many reasons for the pain. We don't even know if you had a root canal or not.
    I had pain under a crown even with a root canal, because the tooth had cracked vertically all the way down to the jaw, and infection moved in.
    You need a dentist.

    You don't need the crown replaced unless it's broken. The crown doesn't fix pain. It's just a cover.
    Again - go to a dentist. (And the dentist who did the crown isn't going to fix it for free.)
