I have a stand alone range, between two doors, not on an outside wall. My question is, can I send the vent up to a 90 degree elbow above a drop ceiling and straight 7 feet to an outside wall?
220 line for stove/range

I am a DYI'er trying to run a 220 line for the stove/range to the breaker box. New codes are 4 lines for dryers - stoves included? Pos,negative, nuetral & ground? The 3 prong outlet where does the ground wire go? Does it matter which side the red or blck go on?
Range - Downdraft Venting

I am thinking of putting a slide-in range with downdraft venting in an island in the center of the kitchen. Do I have to vent the downdraft system all the way to the exterior of the house? Can I have it vent to the space in between the floor and ceiling below? Or, do you have a better suggestion? View more questions Search
