I read Jo's issue. My experience is completely different. I haven't had proper sleep in over two years because of it. What if a patient attempted to have discussions with her physician but the physician manipulated the patient's thinking process into agreeing to have surgery that was not necessary? I felt like I could only say one statement which was that I didn't want ovarian cysts to grow back and I was overwhelmed with fear; and the doctor took that to mean that I wanted my ovaries removed. As I attempted to say no while the doctor was looking at me, I could not say no, I was nodding my head in agreement with the doctor saying I wanted ovaries removed.

    Could you please clarify?

I have no idea who "Jo" is, or what her "issue" could be.

    Please tell us your story.
