    How are newer religions different from older ones, how are the similar?

    You will need to be more specific, there are "newer" religions that to some are 200 years old, but in the aspect of a 2000 year old religion may seem new. And there are new "christian" churches starting with their own beliefs and those who worship space ships coming to take them off earth.
