    Old animated movie from 1990-2000 maybe?
    Its about this boy who meets a girl & some creature type thing and he's on a mission but I'm not exactly sure because it was such a long time ago but they end up going to this castle and there people against him & I rememer three witches and something about an apple maybe? Any ideas?

    Also they met in a forest around a tree stump or something? And I remember I think he had a sword also
