Your period will not be the same cycle all the time because you are having sexual intercourse it changes your cycle. Also you might need to take a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant you will get cramp because of the implanting of the egg to the thick lining of the womb.. you will also feel the breast feeling very tender and heavy. It feels like you will see your period. Six weeks is all it takes to detect a pregnancy... did you take a test? Are you pregnant or not?

Having sexual does NOT change when you have a cycle. Where did you get THAT from.

Also most of the rest of that info is woefully incorrect as well.

Also all you need to test for a pregnancy with a home pregnancy kit is to be TWO weeks late with your period. You HAVE to take it when you wake up... and you HAVE to take it the first time you pee that day.

If you have your period before that two weeks... then you aren't pregnant.

Incidentally since she did have a tubal ligation 5 years ago pregnancy while unlikely isn't completely impossible. There have been cases where they have undone themselves. I'd highly recommend a HPT when you are two weeks late... And a visit to the Gynecologist if it results in a positive.

I have not did a HPT yet I'm just go wait the two weeks because my tubes are tied. I never experienced this before my body feels different to me. I have a cycle tracker and its always been accurate since I used it that's why I was concerned. I was going for a tubal reversal soon anyway so its not like I wouldn't be happy if I was. I also was reading info on how women got pregnant with the tubal ligation. I guess I will play the waiting game and see because I still haven't started my cycle.

    Okay, thank you.

You are too young for menopause. However, you have had your tubes tied for 5 years. Most likely you are not pregnant, but may be just missing a period. The majority of women miss a period or two at least once in their lifetime for little to no reason at all.

Yes, women can get pregnant after a tubal, but a recent tubal. Not typically one 5 or more years old. Also, a reversal is never guaranteed and you run a high risk of a tubal pregnancy due to scar tissue.

I thought that also about women only getting pregnant right
After tubal. But I had read some personal experiences from women in blogs who had got pregnant plenty years later. I'm going to wait about two weeks if not I will go to my doctor. I'm having mild cramps, like I'm starting but its nothing happening. I'm go play the waiting game.

The internet (blogs) can be a dangerous place for proper research ;)

Don't believe in them as they are not necessarily medically accurate.

As a medical professional, I can tell you that it really depends on the method of the tubal ligation that was done. Were the tubes just cut? Were they just tied? Were they cut and tied? Burned?

What about your tubal? Were you cut and tied? Cut and burned? Cut, tied AND burned?

They were cut I had them done when I had my youngest daughter. They had made the small incision by my belly button

Then most likely they were cut and tied. Chances of you being pregnant are slim.

Okay but I honestly don't know is there a way I could find out how they were done because I do need that info for my reversal

You will have to contact the doctor who did the surgery and sign a consent for the records to be transferred to the doctor who will be doing the reversal.

I don't sugar coat anything, I give facts. I want you to be aware that a reversal is never guaranteed and that it can result in a tubal pregnancy, which can be a life threatening situation.

I got it done at the hospital after I had my daughter so I don't know who did the surgery at all. It was just a doctor assigned that day. So maybe I could contact the OB/GYN I had went to. I also know the complications of the reversal I had read everything about it.

Yes, contact the OB/GYN. They should be able to guide you in the right direction.
