    Computer history
How can I check the history on a computer (specifically the internet usage) when the history (under the regular history button on the title bar -or whatever bar) has been deleted? I know there is someway to check it within the computer and then you have to know a way to go from there/??

Honestly you don't have a hope.
There are programs out there that claim to do this, but I wouldn't bother.
Sometimes you can be lucky and find the index.dat file.
This isn't human readable, so not really helpful.

Hi Handymom27, it is possible to check your computer history if the history button has been removed from your taskbar. With your browser open click on "Tools", then select "Internet Options". Under the "General" tab you will notice a way to set how many days you want your history to show. Go up to "Temporary Internet Files" and click "Settings". When the Settings window opens click "view files" and the "Temporary Internet Files" window will open. Click the up button once and then double click on "History". From here you can check up on where the little buggers have been.
    Regards, Dan.
