    Ex partners debt during divorce
I am currently applying for a civil partner dissolution even though unfortunately we are still having to live together.

All household bills are in my name along with 2 catalogues and a credit card on which my ex has spent money and enjoying a laptop and new ereader on the catalogue. Also I have her monthly contract phone in my name due to bad credit!
Is there anyway I can reclaim my possessions and money without too much costly legal dealings?

Also we claim joint tax credits and have been for the past 4 years which has gone into a savings account under her name with her bank. I have never seen a penny of it. Now I've requested half the savings balance as she is refusing. Can anyone help with this?

Unless you can prove some of the money in the Bank is Tours there isn't much you can do. Unless you don't mind breaking the cell phone contract and having bad credit all you can do is tell her to pay it and hope she does. You are going to have to work some kind of financial agreement out that she sees is to her benefit to agree to.

Would you think the bank information on the tax credit award would be enough proof? Both our names ar on the claim just not the bank account?
Yeh I've told her to pay the contract as I've also requested possessions back that are under my name but in her possession and not paid for yet and I got the middle finger!
I was going to report the phone and sim stolen so they are blocked and try to sell the phone to recoop some cash for the debts but the balance of 800 still remains

Possibly but she could say that was all spent and the money is a new deposit. Its worth a try. Get everything together offer a reasonable agreement. Then take her to court if she doesn't agree.
