    Hardwood floor stain problems
    My minwax woodstain gunstock 231 s still wet after 24 hours. I wiped the excess off and have the fans blowing. Now what?

    Please say exactly
    - what you applied it to (species of wood, new or old, previously finished or sanded down)
    - what the weather is where you are (hot, dry, humid, cool)

    I hope you aren't just trying to cover scratches on engineered pre-finished flooring.

    If the wood was well sanded before putting on the Minwax, it should be dry by now. Did you sand well? Putthe Minwax over the old floor? If so, it will never dry and will stay sticky..

    If old finish is not removed, will not dry.
